Duresta sofas and chairs are handmade and hand sewn in the UK by skilled craftsman. Constructed from two types of hardwood; beech and tulipwood, the triple dowelled sofa frame is incredibly strong and rigid yet lightweight, with the tulipwood kiln dried to prevent it from bowing and twisting – perfect for using in different climates. There are two types of springs used in Duresta sofas and chairs. The seat is coil sprung which provides a durable base for the seat cushions and serpentine springs are used on the back for the ultimate in comfort and support. All fabrics are individually hand cut and pattern matched.
