Gleaming Ornament
This Authentic Models Sailor's Inn Desk Bell has been made with sand cast, hand-turned, buffed and polished brass. Gleaming and beautiful, this would make a wonderful ornament on a desk or tabletop.
Historical Significance
A bell with history, desk bells such as these were called the desk agent and were placed on the reception of the purser on passenger ocean liners of the early twentieth century. To request First Class service, you only had to ring the bell and the purser would arrive to answer all of your questions.
